Why So BiGGGGGG?
Well Big is relative I guess. This is just a small to mid-size machine really in the greater scheme of things. The reach and depth are needed for its planned tasks here--big rocks to move, big trees to log, big stumps to pull, and big ponds to dig. Also deep holes in some cases--it will dig to 21 feet and reach out 30 feet from the centreline of rotation. No one machine is perfect for every job, for some a smaller machine would be better probably (like digging and backfilling a trench for the cable from the satellite dish) but hey a smaller machine isn't as good as picking up rocks the size of a fridge.
