Sadly, steadily increasing spam at the email addy I have used for the last 4 to 5 years has forced my hand so I have to go to a new email addy.  Old one will still get my attention for a while but gradually it will have to fade away to the point where I cannot make the time to sort through the ever increasing dross to sift for the nuggets from you my dear friends and family. 

 

The irony is that if I text-mention my new addy in this or any message, current viruses could "harvest" that addy from someone's infected email folder, never mind address book, and before too long I am back to square one with 50 spam messages for every real one, like now.  Hence the subtle hint below to clue you in to new one.   However, do me  a favor and 1) never never put my real addy out on any webpage or newsgroup, blog etc, 2)  never put my addy in any email to anyone or other message if possible, and 3) Memorize my addy so you don't even put me in your (harvestable) addy book and 4) never never never get a virus that will harvest this info from your address book.   Ok ok, some of these requests are easy and some are not, I realize.  While lots of progress has been made in last few years on all these fronts, I realize these requests in toto are not entirely practical but you get the idea of just how insideous and pervasive the spambot spider and virus technology can be.  Keeping our addy's out of the badguy loop is prob never really entirely possible for long, but  hey we try--it's an ongoing battle. Cheers.
