Stretching 14km through the heart of the city centre, the Otakaro/Avon River is an awesome way to explore Christchurch from a different perspective.
There’s a boat-load of activities that are popular with locals and tourists alike, from punting, paddle boating, and kayaking that can be hired by the hour. As well as traveling by water, the pathways that run alongside are just as stunning to walk, run and cycle on.

- LyLo isn’t located in Christchurch’s city centre, we recommend either taking an Uber or bus into the cbd then walking from there. The nearest bus stop is an easy walk to Spitfire Square just 350 meters away!
