If you’ve visited Queenstown before, chances are you’ve already discovered the Jucy Snooze pods, a concept we introduced as a brilliant alternative to bunk beds! Now we’ve transformed our Queenstown pods, so they have the same comfy interior, with a whole new LyLo look to the exterior!
Your Own Mini Room in a Pod
Each pod has everything you’ll need in one spacious, private, cosy space. You get your own secure luggage storage locker, power supply and USB charging port, lighting, fan, WiFi connection and linen for the king single bed! Pull down the blind, and your room mates are gone – your comfy capsule is all yours. Welcome to your private LyLo pod.
Play up for Less in a Pod!
Pods are great value for money, with daily rates well below your average Queenstown hotel room. And compared with a bunk bed in a backpackers, you get so much more – privacy for a start, thanks to the privacy blind, but also USB charging ports, secure personal locker, light, fan – it’s all there! In Queenstown we have pods in rooms of 8 or 12, and female-only pod rooms available, so check the options when you book.

Miss Lucy’s Queenstown is our very own rooftop pizzeria and bar, with epic views of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables. It’s well known as a great spot to socialise or relax with a book after a long day of adventuring, popular with guests and locals alike since we opened as Jucy Snooze in 2018. Now we’re LyLo, the Miss Lucy’s tradition continues, ensuring your pod life lacks nothing compared with a much more expensive hotel!
